What we’re about
Welcome movement lovers!
Do you remember how fun and exciting you felt to move when you were a kid?
Do you want to learn to move your body in new ways to give you a sense movement freedom and flexibility all while having fun in the outdoors?
My name is Greg Stern, I am the owner of From the Ground Up Physiotherapy and I love to practice and teach movement.
In these meet ups, I am going to teach you the same movement explorations I use with my clients on a daily basis to help them get out of stiffness and pain and find a passion for moving again even they have claimed to have tried everything.
If you're interested in hanging out with interesting people learning unconventional yet effective ways of moving that will help your body feel more flexible and free, please join me for outdoor movement classes this summer!
Meet ups will include:
-3D full body stretches to lengthen and strengthen your body and to explore the edges of your comfort zone
-Rope flow classes to teach fluidity and coordination
-Slack Lining to work on balance and focus
-Barefoot Hikes

See all- Intro to Rope Flow – Learn, Move, and Play at Mount RoyalBeaver Lake, Montreal, QCCA$20.00
Welcome, movement lovers!
Join me for a relaxed outdoor movement session at Mount Royal by Beaver Lake — an open, welcoming space to explore balance, coordination, and flow.
All ages and ability levels are welcome — no experience needed.
Rotational Movement Training (RMT) ropes are an extremely powerful tool I use daily with physiotherapy clients of all ages to build fluid, full-body coordination.
These ropes aren’t for jumping like regular skip ropes — they’re designed for flow-based movement that connects your hands to your core through figure-8 patterns. It's the most powerful tool I know to help unlock rhythm and fluidity.

Worried it’s too complicated? Don’t be.
I teach this to 70- and 80-year-old clients. I’ll be guiding you step-by-step so you can move at your own pace and enjoy the process.
Whether you're curious about unconventional training methods or just want to move and connect with like-minded people, this session is for you.Come play, explore, and feel your body move in new ways.
