🪷War Anxiety Support Circle
Many of us are carrying deep worry, grief, and anxiety about wars happening around the world—especially when our families, cultures, or communities are directly affected. Watching violence unfold and feeling powerless can take a heavy emotional toll.
This support circle is a compassionate space where we can come together to share our fears, sadness, and thoughts about war in a respectful and supportive environment. The goal is not political debate, but human connection, empathy, and mutual care.
In this group we:
- Share worries and emotions related to war and global conflict
- Support one another with kindness and listening
- Create space for grief, uncertainty, and hope
- Help each other feel less alone in difficult times
- You are welcome to bring a small candle if you would like. At the beginning of the meeting we will light candles together as a quiet moment of remembrance, solidarity, and hope for those affected by war.
- Everyone is welcome, especially those with loved ones in conflict zones or who feel deeply affected by global events. This is a gentle, respectful space where empathy comes first.
To help create a calm and reflective space, you are welcome to bring:
- A small led candle for a moment of remembrance and hope
- A yoga mat and blanket or comfortable chair so you can sit or rest in a way that feels supportive for you
We will begin with a quiet moment together, lighting led candles and grounding ourselves before sharing. The goal is to create a peaceful environment where everyone can feel safe, supported, and heard.

Principles of Support
- Empathy Comes First
We listen with compassion and recognize that everyone carries unseen pain. Understanding comes before advice.
- Every Voice Matters
Each person’s story and experience are valid. We honor the courage it takes to speak honestly.
- Truth-Telling is Healing
Sharing our experiences openly helps break isolation, silence, and stigma. Speaking the truth about suffering is a step toward healing.
- We Listen Without Judgment
This space is free from blame, shame, or criticism. Everyone deserves to be heard with dignity, truth, and respect.
- Shared Humanity
We recognize our interconnectedness. Even when our experiences differ, we support one another as fellow human beings.
- Mutual Support, Not Fixing
Using I statements and talking about experience. We are here to support each other, not to diagnose, debate, or “fix” anyone’s feelings or experiences.
- Personal Boundaries Are Respected
Everyone has the right to share as much or as little as they wish. Silence and reflection are also forms of participation. You may receive support if you wish.
- Speak From Your Own Experience
We share from our own lives rather than telling others what they should feel or do.
- Compassion Over Debate
This group centers emotional support and understanding rather than political arguments or ideological debates.
- Hope and Collective Healing
Even in times of fear and grief, we gather to remind one another that healing, solidarity, and human kindness are still possible.
