Origin of the Name: “WARA” (わら) means “to laugh” in Japanese. The name reflects our mission to connect people through laughter.

WARAConnect is a community organization led by Japanese members that plans and manages international exchange events. Our aim is to create opportunities for people from diverse backgrounds to connect and build friendships through the universal language of “laughter.”
