Transits occur when a planet or another body moves in between another distant body and an observer; transits of our Sun are rare and fascinating astronomical events, and one is happening on the morning of November 11, 2019!

Join several members of the Warren Astronomical Society at Stargate Observatory for the Transit of Mercury! We will have telescopes you can safely observe Mercury transiting the Sun - you may be able to get a picture with your smartphone too!
