Looking to make new friends, get outside more, and enjoy life with good people? You’re in the right place!

Making friends as an adult isn’t always easy. Sometimes you want to get out of the house, try new things, and meet people, but finding people to do those things with can be the hardest part. That’s why I wanted to start this group!

The goal is simple: bring people together, build genuine friendships, and enjoy the outdoors along the way.

This group is for anyone in the Warrensburg area and surrounding communities who wants to meet new people, make friends, spend more time outside, and have fun. Whether you’re shy, a little socially awkward, new to the area, trying to get out of your comfort zone, or just looking to expand your social circle, you’re welcome here.

You don’t need to be an experienced hiker, an expert fisherman, or the most outgoing person in the room. You don’t need to show up already knowing somebody. Come as you are, and let’s get to know each other!

• Nature walks, hiking, and exploring local trails
• Fishing trips and relaxing by the water
• Kayaking, swimming, and lake days
• Cookouts, picnics, bonfires, and campfires
• Camping and exploring Missouri’s parks and outdoors
• Scenic drives, photography, and wildlife watching
• Stargazing, outdoor games, and spontaneous adventures
• Trying new activities and discovering places together

Not every meetup has to be a big adventure. Sometimes it’s just a relaxed walk, a fishing trip, or sitting around a fire talking and enjoying the evening.

This isn’t about being the most outgoing person or having everything figured out. It’s about showing up, meeting people, and giving new friendships a chance to grow.

I’m starting this group because I’d like to meet new people and build friendships, and I figured there might be others in the area looking for the same thing. I’d love for this to become a welcoming community where members can suggest ideas, help plan activities, and eventually become friends outside the group, too.
