What we're about

Warrior Spirit Lodge (https://www.warriorspiritlodge.org) (WSL) is Home Lodge and the cornerstone of community for the Phoenix Deer Tribe Metis Medicine Society (DTMMS (https://warriorspiritlodge.org)) community. We are a place where everyone in the community is welcome to gather for ceremony, fellowship, and teachings from the Sweet Medicine SunDance path. We offer shamanic classes, new moon and full moon purification lodges, ceremonial weekends, and seasonal solstice and equinox ceremonies, community gatherings, and potlucks. Our events are open to anyone from all walks of life and religion/spiritual backgrounds who are seekers of knowledge. Our community is a sacred container for individual, autonomous liberty and freedom of each individual coming together to create beauty in our community. No previous experience is necessary. People new to the Sweet Medicine SunDance teachings as well as seasoned veterans are welcome to all of our events, and friends are always welcome!

The 6th Imagining of the Grandmother Matriarchs is: “I imagine that I can help change conditions of my world and my personal circumstances.” Come join spiritual community from all walks of life as we gather around the fire to purify, heal, transform, and connect with Spirit in prayer. 2021 is dedicated to the 12 Imaginings of the Grandmother Matriarchs. These 12 Imaginings teach us how to be part of the solution and not part of the problem on Grandmother Earth as a warrior of the light. The imaginings are designed to be our attitude and approach to life as we walk our talk and take action for the light. Each one of us has unique gifts to give the world in our own way. The Imaginings transform limiting beliefs and give us the courage to put our shining out into the world.

People from all religious and spiritual affiliations seeking the light are welcome! There is never a charge for ceremony. Donations to cover the cost of ceremony are welcome.
