Groovy and Android. Is it ready yet?

New languages push their limits to support our favorite mobile platform. Groovy is one of them. It's a very mature language, used to write servers for financial institutions, among others. So why not try it for our awesome apps?

During this livecoding session, I will explore possibilities this language gives us, compared to its older brother - Java. I will show you, that you already know this language and can start using it for professional development. There will be plenty of tricks to save you from writing boilerplate code, but also some nuisances you are likely to encounter. Join this session to learn if you are ready for Groovy.
