What are these decorators?

I think every front-end developer has seen code written in Angular. This framework has certainly introduced decorators to the mainstream, but it is not the only use. Writing things that begin with “@“ is also present in MobX, it is possible with “react-redux” and there are examples from Vue and Stencil.

I want to show what the first version of decorators was about, how to build them and I will provide the overview of the current proposal.

Deno privileges and sandboxing - rethinking the security model in a new secure JavaScript/TypeScript runtime

This talk will explain the runtime privileges in Deno, sandboxing model, security architecture and how it can be used to write safe and easily auditable programs. Deno is a JavaScript/TypeScript runtime that is unique in how it provides security guarantees about how programs can access the system, including files and network, with the default being the most restrictive secure sandbox that doesn’t allow programs to do anything that can be a security risk. The user is in total control about what the program can do which allows running unknown code with confidence.
