Details
#### SPECIAL OPPORTUNITY FOR THOSE WHO HAVE JUST STARTED TANGO OR WISH TO START! GUEST CLASS by SALIM VANAK & MANVIR DOBB FOLLOWED by SOCIAL DANCE.
#### All levels will be welcome, with or without partners. As usual we encourage experienced dancers to come as early as they can in order to inspire and encourage the others, and encourage the beginners/ improvers to stay for at least some of the milonga, even if only to watch and hear the music.
SUPERB PREPARATION FOR LUIS & ELIZABETH"S CLASSES WHEN THEY RETURN from BA ON 23rd January.
#### DETAILS:
6.30 pm to 8pm: Beginners/ improvers class by Salim Vanak & Manvir Dobb.
8pm to 10.20 pm (approx): La Milonguita Inesperada, ("The unexpected informal milonga") social dancing traditional milonga style with DJ Andy Adamson. (Some nibbles, cold soft drinks, wine, but BYOB if you wish.)
COST (At door, CASH ONLY!)
Class: £8 (£5 for students with student Id)
Milonguita: free with class, otherwise £6 (£5)
WHERE: St Mary's Church Hall , St Mary's Road, Leamington Spa, CV31 1JW. There is a substantial car park for the church, on the opposite side of the church to the church hall, as well as plenty of on road parking.
THE TEACHERS: Salim Vanak first started teaching Argentine Tango in 2014 when he founded a tango group in Leicester. Recently he has been giving classes for Warwick University Argentine Tango Society with Manvir, a very talented young dancer. Their style is traditional Argentine tango for social dancing, including in crowded milongas.
DRESS: Loose clothing is best, otherwise anything goes-see photos (of students, not teachers!). For the milonga you could add a bit of glamour if you like.
SHOES: For classes, and in general, it's best to have soles which can slide and slip on the floor, rather than rubber soles. Ladies often like an inch or so of heel, but lots use flat shoes for classes.
