Bushcraft Basics (Cutting)

Details
In order to be a master of your environment, you need to know how to safely use and maintain your tools.
.:: Knife Sharpening
.:: Knife Safety
.:: Cutting & carving techniques
In this course we will go through the essential cutting tools of bushcraft and learn some safe and useful techniques to craft useful things from the environment.
The key tools we will be focusing in on this time are knives and saws.
If you have, please bring your tools along. It is better to learn and get familiar with your own tools. A great knife to start with is the “Mora 860 Companion”. It’s less than £15, so it won’t break the bank and will last a lifetime.
If you don’t have your own, don’t worry. I will have extra for you to use.
We will be in the forest, so please wear suitable clothing. We will also encounter brambles and blackthorne, so don’t wear anything that will snag easily. The path to the area is muddy, so please wear waterproof boots or wellies.
If you have any questions or special requests, don't hesitate to reach out. I look forward to meeting you and creating memorable experiences together.
