Thank you, and a warm welcome to our WASABI's BASIC Language Exchange!

Starting a new language can be scary😌 — but you don’t have to do it alone🤗✨.

This WASABI BASIC event is made exactly for people who are just starting out.

You don’t need to know any grammar, words, or characters yet.

If you’ve ever thought:
・I only know arigatou…
・I can’t read Japanese letters…
・I want to speak but don’t know how…

then you’ll feel right at home here.

At WASABI BASIC, you’ll receive a simple worksheet that helps you:
-learn new words and basic phrases
-recognize and practice Japanese characters
-try your first conversations

The event host has taught Japanese for 10 years and will help you. And most of all — friendly Japanese participants will sit with you and help you throughout!

【Event Flow】
2:30pm-3:30pm：English time with worksheet
3:30pm-4:30pm：Japanese time with worksheet

October, 25th, from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM

*late comers are welcome !

【Participation Fee】
$5 per person
(will be $10 in the future because the host has to make 2 worksheets)

WASABIの言語交換の日本語-英語の言語交換イベントBASICにようこそ！

「英語が全然分からないけど、カナダに来てしまった😌...！」
そんな悩みを抱えていたりしませんか？

それでもやっぱり、英会話デビューはしたい！

そんなあなたのための、やさしい言語交換イベントです。

でも、いきなり補助輪無しで素の英会話だと大変ですよね。そこで、このイベントでは、主催者が用意するワークシートを使って、よく使う単語とフレーズを一つずつ学んでから、会話トピックを少人数テーブルで進めていきます。

日本語をゼロから学びたいカナダの人も参加しているので、「教え合いながら覚える」雰囲気があります。

新しい友達を作りながら、新しい表現もどんどん増やしていきましょう！🤗✨

主催者は英語指導歴10年以上。各テーブルを回って丁寧にサポートしているので、英語初心者の方でも安心してご参加いただけます。

ワークシートのトピックは毎回異なり、1枚につき約1時間かけて丁寧に作成しています。これまでに230枚以上のワークシートを作ってきました。📖🌱✨
