WASABI is hosting an extra Japanese-English language exchange in the early afternoon this Thursday. For those who cannot attend our regular events, it is a good opportunity !

As usual, worksheets will be used for both English and Japanese time, so you will learn something new while making new friends.

Since we’re meeting at a different time than usual, if our regular schedule hasn’t worked for you, this might be your chance to join us!

【Event Flow】
1:00pm–1:45pm — English time with worksheet
1:45pm–2:30pm — Japanese time with worksheet

【Location】
Flamingo Cafe (999 Granville St, Vancouver)

【Date & Time】
March 5th 1:00PM–2:30 PM
You don’t have to be on time — feel free to join late!

【Participation Fee】
FREE
(to support Flamingo cafe )
*As it is a FREE event, past worksheets will be used.

【Background of the event】
Flamingo Cafe, which has supported WASABI for nearly 3 years, is currently going through operational challenges and has reduced its weekday operating hours to 3 pm.

To help support the cafe as much as possible, I decided to host this event. This event is free because I hope that by welcoming more people, we can support the cafe together.

Our regular Thursday events (4:30 pm–6:30 pm) have been moved to Sunday afternoons for the time being, until normal operating hours resume.

【Important】
Please order at least one item at the café to support the cafe.

【本イベント開催の背景】
フラミンゴカフェはWASBIの活動を約３年間支えてくださったカフェです。しかし近年の物価高などでカフェの経営が大変になり、平日の営業時間が一時的に3pmまでになりました。そこで、WASABIとしては少しでもカフェの力になれたらと思い、この度追加でイベントを開催することにしました。より多くの人にご参加いただければカフェの力添えになれると思い、イベントの参加費を無料といたしました。これまでWASABIに参加したかったけど時間が合わずになかなか来れずにいた方など、ぜひお越しください！
