Learning a new language can be scary — but you don’t have to do it alone✨.

You'll find this event perfect if you are
- looking for a place to make new friends
- keen to learn at the same time

At WASABI, we create a friendly and supportive space where everyone helps each other. Each table gets a language-school-quality worksheet filled with new vocabulary, phrases, and grammar, so you can learn naturally while chatting and **making new friends!**️✨

Most of our participants are beginners, so don’t worry — we’ve all been there!

【Event Flow】
1:00pm–2:00pm — English time with worksheet
2:00pm–3:00pm — Japanese time with worksheet

【Location】
Flamingo Cafe (999 Granville St, Vancouver)

【Date & Time】
March 12th 1:00 PM–4:00 PM
You don’t have to be on time — feel free to join late!

【Participation Fee】
$5 per person
(will be $10 in the future because the host has to make 2 worksheets)

Please bring cash on the day of the event.

(We kindly ask that you bring the exact amount if possible.)

Thursdays: 1pm-3pm Jp-Eng (all-levels)
Saturdays: 2:30pm-4:30pm Jp-Eng (BASIC)
Sundays: 11am-1pm Jp-Eng (ELEMENTARY, even easier than BASIC)

Please order at least one item at the café.

WASABIの言語交換の日本語-英語の言語交換イベントにようこそ！

このイベントはどんな人向け？
・新しい友達を作りたい人
・友だちを作るだけじゃなくて、同時に、英語を伸ばしたい人

WASABIでは、新しい単語・便利な表現・文法を学べるワークシートを使った言語交換を行っています。

「ただ集まっておしゃべりしていても、英語の伸びを感じられない...！」
そんな悩みを抱えているそこのあなた...

もしかすると、いつも同じ表現ばかり使っていて、新しい言葉が増えていないのかもしれません。

新しい友達を作りながら、新しい表現もどんどん増やしていきましょう！✨

主催者は英語指導歴10年以上。各テーブルを回って丁寧にサポートしているので、英語初心者の方でも安心してご参加いただけます。

ワークシートのトピックは毎回異なり、1枚につき約1時間かけて丁寧に作成しています。これまでに270枚以上のワークシートを作ってきました。✨

ca_seikatsu (カナダ生活辞典) の中の人インスタでカナダの生活に関する情報を発信しています。渡航前・渡航後に役に立つ知識の宝庫、まさに事典です。英語指導歴10年。日英中、現在はスペイン語。語学が大好きなので、英語の勉強の仕方が分からなかったり、やる気が最近上がらなくて困ってる人の力になりたい！
