Join us for a fun and welcoming WASABI sake tasting night in Vancouver!

At this event, you’ll taste and compare four different types of sake while meeting new people and learning the basics in a relaxed atmosphere.

This event is perfect for beginners who are new to sake.

What you’ll learn and experience:

• The basics of sake
• Essential sake etiquette
• A range of sake styles and flavor profiles

The host, Tsurumi, is a certified International Kikisake-shi (Sake Sommelier) and will guide you through the experience in a friendly and approachable way.

Thursday, March 26
7:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Time Flow (Approx. 2 hours)

• Basics of Sake (5 min)
• Order Food with Pairing Advice (10 min)
• Guided Sake Tasting (4 types + etiquette explanation) (30 min)
• Free Time: Food, Drinks & Conversation (75 min)

Please arrive on time.

💰 Participation Fee
$45 per person (Includes a tasting flight of 4 types of sake)

Not included:

• Additional drinks (outside the tasting flight)
• Food
• 18% tip

Please order at least one dish per person or share food.
On the day of the event, please pay for additional drinks, food, and tips directly to the host via e-transfer or cash.

Tsurumi
A sake lover who fell deeply into the world of sake.
After working at a bank for about 10 years, I decided to change my career path to pursue my passion for sake and contribute to its global recognition.
Currently studying in Vancouver since April 2025.
Planning to host regular sake events in the future.
On Instagram, I share the sake I try, as well as restaurants, breweries, and liquor stores I visit.

日本酒の沼にハマった女子。
日本酒の世界普及に携わりたいと思い、約10年勤めた銀行を退職してキャリアチェンジを目指す。
2025年4月よりバンクーバーに留学中。
今後、日本酒イベントを定期的に開催予定。
