Boo to Barriers: Build a Gingerbread Backyard Cottage in Clearfield
Details
Spooky season is here, and the only thing scarier than a haunted house is how hard it can be to find a home that fits.
Join Wasatch Advocates for Livable Communities (WALC) at Something Wicked Coffee in Clearfield for an evening of gingerbread building and good conversation. Together, we'll build gingerbread backyard cottages (also called accessory dwelling units, or ADUs) and talk about how small homes like these can help neighbors at every stage of life, from young adults getting started to grandparents who want to live close to family.
What to expect
- Hands-on gingerbread cottage building
- Friendly conversation about housing choice in Clearfield and across Davis County
- A chance to meet neighbors who care about their community
We'll supply the gingerbread and frosting. No housing expertise needed. Everyone is welcome.
Boo to Barriers is part of WALC's annual Halloween series across the Wasatch Front. Spots are limited, so RSVP today.
