All participants will be vetted. As of now, the trip is limited to 8. However if more leaders volunteer we can add more attendees. Therefore if someone ahead of you on the waitlist gets added to the going list before you, don’t be alarmed.

Required Gear List: Ascending gear, headlamp, helmet, canyon harness, canyon specific rappelling device (No ATC or 8), 20 feet of webbing, 1 quick link, 4 carabiners, personal safety tether, and anything else you deem necessary.

Registration & Attendance: To attend this free event, you must have an active WMC membership. Space is limited to 8 participants (including the host), and we cannot accommodate "+1" guests—everyone must RSVP individually. If your plans change, please cancel your RSVP as soon as possible to allow someone from the waitlist to join. Last minute cancellations are frowned upon. Please be aware that "no-shows" or late cancellations may result in being blacklisted from future events.

Agenda: Plan will be to meet at 7:30 AM at a location that will be disclosed to participants only with all canyoneering gear and camping gear. Including your own food and water. If you cannot commit to this time then please do not sign up! If you do not want to camp then please do not sign up. We will be primitive camping near the trailhead.

After setting up camp, we may run a short canyon depending on time.
Saturday the plan is to run Tidwell canyon in the Robbers Roost area. Tidwell is said to be a stunning deep, and dark canyon. There will be ascending required. We will have a practice ascending session in April that will be mandatory for all participants. CGI Level 1 certification required.

Saturday night we will have a potluck dinner. Sign up sheet will be sent out once all participants are finalized.

Sunday we will run High Spur canyon. This is said to be the most beautiful canyon in the Robbers Roost area. Both canyons are about 7 miles and should take 5-7 hours each day.
