Co-working and Lunch Discussion - Lunch Topic: Twitter for Business

Details

Co-working at Soldier Hollow Grill, and a lunch discussion about using Twitter with your business!

To kick off this Meetup group, I thought I would begin to find places that will support co-working, and lunch discussions. Soldier Hollow Grill - with it's spectacular views of the valley - is the first partner in my experiment.

After reading this great article on the Strong Towns website - https://www.strongtowns.org/journal/2018/9/21/the-one-week-coworking-space - I wanted to get some locations going. Soldier Hollow Grill has agreed to offer a place for co-working, with the following rules:

  1. The time is from 9am-4pm - SHARP! They want to have people out the door by 4pm.
  2. Cost is $10 for the day, unless you spend at least $10 for food and drinks. So if you buy more than $10, it's free for the day!
  3. No outside food or drinks allowed.
  4. We can use the large round tables nearest to the giant windows with the spectacular views.
  5. They have WiFi and we can use their power. You might have to bring an extension cord until we get some temporary power arrangements figured out.
  6. They reserve the right to ask us to move around if they have an evening event to set-up.

The proposed agenda is as follows:

  • 9am-Noon: Co-working (come and work from a beautiful spot!)
  • Noon-1:30pm: Lunch Discussion - Twitter for Business
  • 1:30pm-4pm: Co-working

You don't have to be there all day ... just come for the times that work for you!

This is a work in progress, and this is the first event being held. I'll be looking for input, feedback, and suggestions for future events.
