$249 Limited Canoe Trip Down Green River to Mineral Bottom
Details
68 miles Amazing Paddle/Float with Canoes & Kayaks down Labyrinth Canyon (looks and feels like Canyonlands because it is near it)
Good news for this trip: From April 2026 - April 2027 Millions of gallons are being moved from Flaming Gorge to Lake Powell via the green river. This means that we will enjoy a better flow rate which will allow more float time on the river.
I have done this trip many times. My first trip was as a young scout. Later, I organized the trip many times for scouts as a scout leader. This trip is too amazing to not do it. This will be my 6th consecutive year organizing the trip for adults.
Obviously this is not a commercial trip. The cost covers expenses for the trip.
Due to expense and amount of planning and the fact that once we start, we can no longer back out. Only those who are healthy and committed will be allowed on this adventure.
Here are a few things we do know:
1. Each vessel will need to be self reliant (You must carry your own stuff)
2. We will do our own shuttle (Day before we get on the water)
3. Each person needs a dry bag.
4. Canoe groups will be created as people join the event. Those committed (payment made) will be consulted as canoe groups are formed.
Cost: $249.00 (Must be paid before spot is secured. $49 of this is a donation and not refundable. $200 could be refunded if a replacement is found who will pay it or if the funds are not already used or needed to avoid costing others more)
Payment Includes: Gas, Canoe & Vehicle Shuttle, Camping & Launch Fees
Payment Does Not Include: Meals, Snacks, or Gear
