Join Washington Area Secular Humanists (WASH NoVA) for an online conversation with Bart Campolo — counselor, speaker, former chaplain, and longtime voice in secular community building.
Many people navigating secular life ask big questions: How do we build meaningful community? How do we relate better to religious family and friends? How do we find purpose, connection, and even moments of “spiritual” depth without religion?
In this relaxed and interactive Google Meet event, Bart will share thoughts and personal experiences from years of working with people navigating belief, doubt, relationships, and life transitions. Rather than a formal lecture, this will be a conversational talk followed by plenty of time for Q&A and discussion.
Possible themes may include:
• Secular community and belonging
• Relationships with religious loved ones
• Meaning and purpose without religion
• Secular spirituality and wellbeing
• Making the most of life in the shadow of mortality
