We will have six awesome routes over three days that showcase skating in DC. All skates will meet at Freedom Plaza 1339 Pennsylvania Ave NW except for the SkateDC Marathon:

### Friday, Sep 29

-2pm Skateparks of DC Tour - join us as we skate to three skateparks in the city, Shaw, Banneker and RFK, skate will be about 11 miles and we'll stop at each park for about 15-20 minutes.

-7pm National Mall and Monuments - come out for our famous Friday Night Skate as we skate past the Capitol, Smithsonian Castle and Museums, Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial. We'll then head over to Haines Point for a loop before returning to Freedom Plaza to get some food afterwards. Bring out your lights! Wear red, white and blue to show off your DC pride!

### Saturday, Sep 30

-9am 8th Annual SkateDC Marathon - If you have never participated in an endurance skating event, this is the perfect opportunity to challenge yourself & have fun on a great trail. Distance options include Rollerblade 10K Challenge, Half Marathon (13.1 miles) and Full Marathon (26.2 miles). If you are visiting or need a ride then please ask around on Friday

11am - SkateDC Brunch & Cinnamon Roll Out -
Instead of skating a marathon, take a relaxing roll around the city that will showcase the Saturday coffee and bakery scene! We'll skate to coffee in Bladen Alley, stop at a bakery on H Street NE and then make a lunch stop at Union Market before returning back to downtown via Union Station. Ideal route for quad and beginner inline skaters. 7 miles at a beginner pace.

-4pm Anacostia Skate Pavilion - Did you know that DC is the home of the only skate rink in the National Parks Service right across the river in Anacostia. We'll skate from Freedom Plaza across the Fredrick Douglas Bridge over to the trail and stop at the Skate Pavilion. The stop will be about 30-60min. Then we'll head back across the Whitney Young Bridge before coming back up towards Union Station and Yotel. We'll stop for dinner at Chercher, an Ethiopian restaurant with meat or veggie options. Did you know that DC has the largest population of Ethiopians outside of Ethiopia?

-10am Loops of DC - The first loop will be a lap down PA Ave to the Lincoln Memorial and then back to Freedom Plaza.
