Sunday Skate-Urban Expedition to the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens!

Join us for an exciting Sunday skate session with the Washington Area Roadskaters!

This Sunday, lace up your skates for an incredible route lead by our favorite, Talida! This is an 18 mile intermediate-level skate.

We'll begin at Freedom Plaza, rolling past the Capitol and RFK Stadium, before connecting with the Anacostia Trail.

Our destination: the enchanting Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens, where lotus flowers and water lilies are gloriously in bloom this month. Be sure to bring along a pair of shoes, as you'll need to remove your skates to fully appreciate the vibrant flora from the boardwalks.

On the way back, we'll skate past Nationals Stadium and the Navy Yard, concluding our skate with a group favorite exhilarating pass through the 12th Street Tunnel before returning to Freedom Plaza.

We always experience the best of DC on skates, and this Sunday with Talida will be no exception!
