Sunday Skate with Washington Area Roadskaters-Ice Cream Skate on Ice Cream Day!

Get your skates on and get ready for another Sunday adventure on wheels!

This Sunday, we're hitting the streets for a skating expedition through the heart of D.C. and beyond.

Our route provides an awesome mix of landmarks and scenic trails. We'll kick things off by skating down Pennsylvania Ave to the Capitol Building, then continue to the historic RFK Fairgrounds.

But the fun doesn't stop there! We'll then enjoy a super smooth ride down the picturesque River Walk trail, soaking in the views before crossing the Anacostia River on the famous Sousa Bridge. From there, it's back across the Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge, where a well-deserved ice cream break awaits us near Yards Park!

Finally, we'll cap off our epic skate by cruising back to Freedom Plaza with a group favorite pass through the 12th Street Tunnel. Zoooom!
