Sunday Skate! Adams Morgan, Cathedral Heights, Glover Park & Georgetown
Neighbor skaters, come join us for our community Sunday group roll through Northwest DC! Big Mike is leading this weekend's skate, taking us through Adams Morgan, Woodley Park, Cathedral Heights, Glover Park, Burleith, and Georgetown before looping back downtown.
This is a scenic, hilly route on the west side of Rock Creek Park—expect a solid workout with several climbs and rewarding, long downhills.

Meeting Location: The newly reopened Freedom Plaza Southwest corner under the trees (near Pennsylvania Ave NW & 14th St NW)

⚠️ Location & Staging Notice:
Due to recent requests from Park Police and security to keep the newly renovated plaza clear, please do not skate or congregate on the open plaza surface. -
For now, look for the group gathered under the trees on the southwest corner along Pennsylvania Ave. This is likely a temporary arrangement while the dust settles on the renovation, but respecting the space keeps us in good standing with park staff. Thanks for cooperating and helping us keep rolling smoothly!
