Sunday Skate with The Washington Area Roadskaters - Georgetown's Gravity GoGo!

A skate up Mass. Ave puts us squarely above Georgetown and near the top of Mount Alto. This quick climb positions us for a meandering and fairly gradual descent down to the waterfront. The steepest part is within Georgetown University where the pavement is no more then a month old at this point. After hitting the slopes we open up our stride and navigate the national mall, making our way to the capitol building and then the final return trip down Penn ave to Freedom Plaza.
