After a relaxing morning at the Beaverton Farmers Market and Town Hall with Mayor Beaty, join us! Show your dissent and patriotism as DJT’s Administration continues to violate our constitutional rights, checks and balances while lining the pockets of the ultrawealthy. Draft dodger Donald Trump wants a military parade on his birthday to stoke his egomaniacal existence. Dissent is true patriotism and democracy. Come fight for EVERYONE’S right to healthcare access, due process, freedom of speech, religion, liberty, and property. Sign waving starts at 2:30 PM followed by speeches from our devoted civil service representatives from 3 to 3:30 PM. Finish the afternoon with a round-trip march from Beaverton City Park to Town Hall. If marching isn’t your style, stick around! We invited Woodlanders band and community partners to our event. Strike up a conversation at their tables to continue building up the resistance!

In America, we don’t put up with would-be kings. NO KINGS is a national day of action and mass mobilization in response to increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption from Trump and his allies. We’ve watched as they’ve cracked down on free speech, detained people for their political views, threatened to deport American citizens, and defied the courts. They’ve done this all while continuing to serve and enrich their billionaire allies.
