Let's Read The Return of the Native by Thomas Hardy!

Let's leverage this inclement weather by hunkering down with a good old Hardy! Published in 1878 in serial form, this is Hardy's sixth novel and one of his most popular. It's true that Hardy isn't exactly a laugh a minute, but I dimly recall this novel being a gripping read that makes one long for a walk on the heath. If you've never read Hardy before, this is your chance to try him out! If you have read Hardy, I promise you this is at least better than Jude the Obscure!
