Join us at the end of the conference on Wednesday, November 8th, for GenAI meetup. Alexis Roberson (Developer Advocate at Elastic) will present, followed by networking, light bites, and refreshments.
Please RSVP if you plan on attending. Registration closes on Tuesday, November 7th, so we can provide the list of names to building security.

Arrival Instructions:
Upon arrival, please check in with the security concierge on the first floor. Guests will need to show a photo ID for access to the 7th floor.
Parking:
There is a valet-only on-site parking garage that is open from 6 am-8 pm. Additionally, there is street parking on 12th Street.
Public Transporation:
The meetup venue is located across the street from the Metro Center Metro Station.

Search is not just traditional TF/IDF anymore: the current trend of machine learning and models has opened another dimension for search. This talk gives an overview of:
- “Classic” search and its limitations
- What is a model and how you can use it
- How to use vector search or hybrid search in Elasticsearch
- Where OpenAI’s ChatGPT or similar LLMs come into play with Elastic
