Global Development Matters Movie Night: Bhutto, with producer Mark Siegel

BHUTTO (http://www.bhuttothefilm.com/) is an in-depth documentary of the epic life and tragic death of former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto. The movie mixes interviews with archival footage, news clips and previously unreleased audio recordings. Interviews with Bhutto's widower Asif Ali Zardari (Pakistan's current president) and her children are particularly affecting. "Bhutto" producer and Pakistan expert Mark Siegel, who is featured extensively in the film, will join viewers for a discussion after the film.

Wren Elhai, co-author of CGD’s new report on the U.S. development strategy in Pakistan, will serve as host and moderator.
