Details
Join us for the monthly MongoDC Meetup!
Agenda:
6:30-7:00: meet, greet, & eat
7:00-7:15: welcome, announcements, & introductions
7:15-9:00: Presentations & Discussions
This meetup is being held at Fluencia in Rosslyn. You can download parking instructions here (http://files.meetup.com/1742411/Fluencia%20Driving%20Directions.png) and download Metro directions here (http://files.meetup.com/1742411/Fluencia%20Metro%20Directions.png). See you there!
We'll be doing a hands-on activity designed to introduce you to the MongoDB aggregation framework. This is a repeat, with slight modifications, of the talk I did in Silver Spring during June's meetup. Please try to come tonight bearing a laptop with MongoDB 2.6 installed.
If you can work your way through restoring a Mongo database from a backup, you can get a head start by downloading the database we'll be using here (http://files.meetup.com/1742411/us_gov_data.zip). If not, don't worry: we'll go over it during the activity.
