WIFV Film Club: HEDDA

HEDDA is a 2025 American drama film written and directed by Nia DaCosta, based on Hedda Gabler by Henrik Ibsen. Tessa Thompson stars in the title role and is a producer on the film, with Imogen Poots, Tom Bateman, Nicholas Pinnock, and Nina Hoss in supporting roles.

The film premiered at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival. It was released in select theaters in the U.S., before streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

After registering for Film Club, you'll be emailed the Zoom login information. Come prepared to share your likes, dislikes, and insights. It's like a book club, except instead of discussing a book, you get to discuss a film! The Film Club is co-hosted by Connie St. John and Ericka Boston.

The WIFV Film Club is open to all and is a great way to build connections with fellow members of the film community. We typically meet on the third Monday of each month, from 7:30 – 8:30 pm ET.
