Nursery April Plant Sale Work Party

Hello to our dedicated crew of volunteers!
Our chapter's annual plant sale is right around the corner on Saturday April 25th at Bellevue Botanical Gardens.
A special PLANT SALE LOADING work party will be held the day before on FRIDAY April 24th from 10am to 1pm at our Nursery in Magnuson Park.

We will be doing last minute plant prep, staging plants, building out a box truck and loading plants for transport to the sale!
We are renting a larger truck this year so we may not need extra trucks or vans but if you do have a truck or van and would be available to help deliver overflow plants or wagons to Bellevue Botanical Gardens, please drop a note to us at CPSNursery@wnps.org! We will reach out if we end up needing some extra cargo space. You are appreciated!
Our tasks for the first work party will include:
- Adding last minute labels to plants
- Last minute weeding
- Staging plants for loading into truck
- Building out shelving in box truck
- Loading plants and plant sale materials
We will have gloves, tools, and water (cold / hot for tea) on hand as well as light refreshments (fruit and or snack bars/baked goodies). Our potting table area is covered but the rest of the nursery is open to the elements so please dress for the weather.
