Hello to our dedicated crew of volunteers!

To all those that came for our May work party, THANK YOU! We ended up having a lot more to tackle than we anticipated and everyone that came lent not just their hands but their positive energy to breeze through the work! Our nursery is now ready for this year's growing season and we are well into growing our inventory for next year's sale!

Our next work party is coming up on June 6th. Please note we are shifting our hours for the summer months and starting and finishing one hour early. The work party will run from 9am to 1pm to make good use of the cooler morning weather and get everyone out of the hotter afternoon sun!

๐ŸŒžSign-up here!

Our seed trays are overflowing so our primary task will be focused on potting up seedlings. Unfortunately, the weeds are earnestly overflowing too so we will also be tackling them before they can tackle us.
Here is a tentative list of our tasks for June:

  • Potting Up Seedlings and bulbs
  • Weeding
  • Fertilizing Plants
  • Washing Pots
  • Repotting donated ferns
  • Possibly repotting cuttings
  • General Nursery Maintenance
  • Having fun!

We will have gloves, tools, and water (cold / hot for tea) on hand as well as light refreshments (fruit and or snack bars/baked goodies).

Our potting table area is covered but the rest of the nursery is open to the elements so please dress for the weather.

The nursery is located in Magnuson Park BEHIND The Brig at 6344 NE 74th St, Seattle, WA 98115.

We look forward to seeing you there!
