Nursery August Work Party
Details
Hello to our dedicated crew of volunteers!
If you are local to the nursery (5-10 minutes away) and would like to help us out this summer with drop in check-ins of the nursery, that would be super helpful!
We are unable to be out there every day and a lot can happen on these hot hot summer days! Please reach out to this email if this is something you would like to help out with. It is very simple; go by the nursery at your convenience, walk the 4 rows, make sure everything looks watered, the irrigation time is still on and shoot us a quick text/email to let us know (hopefully!) all is well. That's it!
Our next work party is coming up on August 1. You are welcome to come and stay for a while or the entire time.
Our tasks for our upcoming work party will include:
- Potting up any donations and remaining seed starts
- Weeding!
- Finishing trimming back cutting beds
- Pot washing
- General Nursery Maintenance
- Having fun!
We will have gloves, tools, and water (cold / hot for tea) on hand as well as light refreshments (fruit and or snack bars/baked goodies).
Our potting table area is covered but the rest of the nursery is open to the elements so please dress for the weather.
