Title: Why Electron and Neutrino are Time Crystals - Oscillate Already in the Lowest Energy State?
Abstract: Relativistic QM requires to use E=mc^2 in the psi~exp(-iEt/hbar) phase evolution, making the mass of the particle literally cause its intrinsic periodic process. For electrons, it is called de Broglie clock/Zitterbewegung, and was directly confirmed experimentally. Neutrino oscillations use the same formula for 3 masses. Such entities oscillating already in the lowest energy state are also called time crystals. Dr. Duda will introduce these topics and propose a propulsion mechanism, providing a tendency for field oscillations in the presence of particles: starting from a simple 1+1D kink model, then go to model candidates for electrons and neutrinos.

Speaker:
Jarek Duda is an assistant professor at Jagiellonian University. He holds degrees in computer science (PhD), mathematics (MSc) and physics (PhD). He is mainly focused on physics foundations, information theory, statistical analysis, and is known for introduction of asymmetric numeral systems.
