Washington DC Pokemon League

This is a 21+ Event at a Bar, for Adult Pokemon Fans Only.

For this event, we will be having a free friendly tournament amonst attendees! No gyms will be active this month to encurage tournament participation.

Tournament 1: "All One Type" Tournament

Format: bring 6, play 4 singles. Best 2 out of 3 per round. Double knockout bracket.

Team Construction: All pokemon on your team must share a common type. No Legandary Pokemon from the Legendary Pokemon Clause.

Terastalization is allowed for this event. Tera Type does not need to be the type that matches your Pokemon's common type.

Season Points Awarded for this Event: 1st: 10pts, 2nd: 8pts, Top 4: 6pts, Top 8: 4pts, Any wins: 2pts, No wins: 1pt Best Sportsman: 3 additional pts.

**We will have some printed for you at the event or you can fill it out in advance and email it to dcpokemonleague@gmail.com as these are NOT to be shared to the other players. They are just for Becky to make sure everyone follows the rules of the tournament.

Open Gyms: Fairy, Ground, Electric, Ghost, Dragon, & Grass!

We play on Nintendo Switch Scarlet and Violet, 6v6 singles, best 2 out of 3.

You Challenge a Gym Leader by buying them a drink (It supports the bar and ofsets the cost of the custom gym badges. One Drink per challenge. A Challenge is best 2 out of 3).
Challengers cannot use legendary Pokemon or the specific 4 bans as chosen by the gym leader. If the challenger wins, they receive a Gym badge pin unique to our league.
