Activities & Outings: The Pacific Northwest is a treasure trove of experiences. From cocktail parties, mixers, concerts, competitive group events, day trips, dinner parties, to game nights and much more, we have you covered. With activities ranging from hiking, biking, rock climbing, golfing, tennis, movie nights, to wine tasting and sporting events, every weekend promises something new.
Group Camping: Whether you're in for a 1 or 2-night weekend camping escapade, we've got trips tailored to every taste. Ranging from intimate groups of 8 to mega gatherings of 100+, there's a place for everyone by our campfire. Some trips even welcome our furry friends! We're on a mission to experience all the top campsites in the PNW, so if you've got a bucket list, now's the time to tick those boxes.
Looking for spontaneity? Our Pop-Up Camping trips cater to those ready for an adventure on short notice. For the brave-hearted, we've got Snow Camping, an experience that'll redefine adventure!
Adventures Beyond Camping: Our adventures extend beyond campsites. From beaches, hostels, winter BBQs, ski trips, and more, if you've got a place in mind, chances are, we're headed there soon!

We believe in mutual respect. This group isn’t a dating platform, and any untoward behavior won't be tolerated.
RSVP MATTERS:
Taking your RSVPs seriously is crucial. Repeated no-shows or last-minute changes are frowned upon and might lead to removal from the group. As we often say, consistency is the mark of a true friend.
RISKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
While organizers do their best to ensure the safety of events, inherent risks come with outdoor and backcountry activities. We don't assume any liability for any incidents during our events. Every adventurer should be aware and take personal responsibility.

Join us for our weekly hikes after work to unwind and make new friends, with trails selected based on weather, traffic, and availability.
Carpool: Arrange carpools on our WhatsApp group chat from any location to coordinate. (Text your number to Event host if the link doesn't work to get added).
Important Reminders:
- NO SHOWS/LATE CANCELS/FREELOADERS will be banned.
- Notify Abhi/event-host if you can't make it, ideally a day before the hike.
- Non-payment of rideshare to drivers results in a ban from Amigos and gets you tracked in denylists with other WA meetup groups.Must carry:
- A headlamp to hike down after sunset in the dark.
- Change of footwear as a courtesy towards your driver.
- If you're a rider, pay your driver $20 when you enter their car towards gas/parking.

- Carkeek park sunset hike, make friends, then dinner!Carkeek Pump Station and CSO Treatment Facility, Seattle, WA
Come meet some good people every week whether you are newbie in town or long-term locals. Get some exercise and great conversations. This is a rain or shine event.
We will start at the parking strip in the middle of the park, next to a honey bucket and the Carkeek Pump Station/CSO Treatment Facility. We will then hike from the south ridge trail toward the south bluff then down the bridge to the beach (at about 6.30 pm). Enjoy the sunset and occasionally a thrilling train chase before heading up back on the trail. This time to the north bluff, down the Grand Fir trail and return to the parking spot, completing a loop of ~ 2.8 miles and about 500 ft elevation gain (see the photo for map).
We will then meet at a nearby restaurant to socialize and enjoy some (ethnic) food (between 7.15-8.30 pm). So far, we have enjoyed Banh Town, but we may also try different venues - your suggestions.If you are late and can not make the hike, please send a comment to the event *in advance*. Please note that hosts do NOT check messages while hiking. We may reply to your messages when we are done with the loop.
***** Important: Please read the event timeline carefully if you are late and want to meet us halfway or at the restaurant. Some restaurants may not want to process multiple credit cards. Cash would be most convenient.
