Kent Island is the largest island in the Chesapeake Bay and was the location of the first European settlement in Maryland. From its earliest inhabitants (Matapeake Indians) to its present-day status as the gateway to the Eastern Shore, Kent Island has played a vital role in the history of Maryland.
Join WWO for a beautiful ride on Kent Island. We will travel on a paved bike path that traverses the island, detouring to see neighborhoods, water views, and a community fishing pier. There are multiple stops to admire the views. Moderate social pace, with a leader and a sweep. As with all our rides, no one will be left behind. To participate:

1. You must register and pay for this event on our website at this link: Kent Island Bicycle Ramble. Although this ride is FREE for Premium Members, please register! Register early on our website to reserve your spot!
2. No further trip details will be provided on Meetup. Upon completion of registration and the waiver, trip information will be forwarded by email. If you do not see confirmation email from Washington Women Outdoors in your in-box, immediately check your spam folder.
