What we're about

Bellevue Badminton Club is committed to growing the sport of badminton in Washington. Through this meetup, we hope to provide a safe and friendly environment for those new to the sport to learn about badminton and for those new to the area to meet others with the same interest.

Badminton can be a very social sport. We will have meetups at least once a month. Our basic meetup will be open play with an organizer who will show those new to the sport the basic rules and how to get started, and help gather players to get games going.

On occasions, we will also have themed meetups, organized play, mini tournaments, and contests with prizes!

Badminton is a year-round sport that will get you sweating! Don't believe us? Join us and experience it for yourself!

• What we'll do I will be there with a couple other friends to practice badminton. We are looking for other players who are social/recreational players who would also be interested in getting together regularly to play games for exercise and improve at the sport. • What to bring We encourage bringing a reusable water bottle for convenience. There are two drinking fountains, but both of them are near the restroom near the entrance, and we will most likely be using the back courts. :) • Important to know We are all beginning to intermediate players looking to learn and practice to improve. This meetup is for those just learning the game and wanting to practice with people with similar skill levels. (We will also offer meetups for upper intermediate to advance level players in the future.)
