Salmon fishing trip

License
You will need a saltwater license and bring salmon catch record card.

Prep
Even though no experience is required, you will need to be responsible for your own prep. You will need to read online and watch videos on how to salmon fish. For gear, you should go to Outdoor emporium and ask the staff in the store to setup your rod for you. Since you will have everything setup for you, you should be able to go in and immediately start fishing. You should also know how to set everything on the line back up if your fishing line snaps.

Location
We will fish at SeaCrest Pier since that is very close to Seattle.

Hours
The optimal time is early morning hours right before sunrise and late afternoon: 3 hours before sunset. This is why we are starting so early

Cook afterwards
We will have an optional cooking session afterwards where we can cook our catch. If you want to attend, please bring some ingredients and have some recipes in mind. We can cook in my apartment's lounge in Cap Hill. Alternatively if someone else is willing to host cooking we can cook somewhere else too.
