Golden Gardens staircase, marine walk, and lunch

Note on change of meeting location. For those who drive: Meet outside The Kite Cafe in Golden Gardens Park at 10.50am. Those who arrive by bus (like me): You are welcome to meet at the Caffe Fiore at 10.30 am to walk down the steps to the beach.

From there, we'll make a loop around the marina and fishing pier and climb up the steps while enjoy the PNW greenery on the trails.
We then return to the parking lot (next to the dog park) and decide if we would like to eat. Note that Sunny Hill pizza can only accommodate 6 people without prior reservation. A convenient place nearby is the Ray's Cafe (can host more people). Suggestions are welcome.

### Access

• Take bus 40 from downtown and walk 15-20 minutes to café Fiore.
• Take bus 45 from the U-District, which stops right outside café Fiore.
• Drive to the park and park near the Kite Cafe and meet us there at about 10.50 am.

### Important

• You are responsible for your own safety and expenses during this walk.
• This route is rated easy, but the nearly 300 steps may be challenging for some. Know your ability before signing up. The loop is ~ 3 miles; 240 ft elevation gain.
