Seattle to Skykomish: Rafting Day Trip (Class III-V Rapids)

On Sunday, May 11, we’re hitting the legendary Skykomish River — home to Washington’s most thrilling rapids, including Boulder Drop, Bonsai, and Aquagasm. With powerful rapids and incredible mountain views, this is a Pacific Northwest classic you don’t want to miss!

• Date & Time: Sunday, May 11 — Meet at 2:00 PM in Gold Bar
• Seattle Departure: Leave by 12:00 PM sharp to arrive on time
• Difficulty: Intermediate–Advanced (Class III–V rapids)

• Ages: 16+

• This trip is guided by Alpine Adventures, a licensed rafting company with expert guides and full safety equipment.
• Knowing how to swim is NOT required. You’ll be provided with a life jacket (PFD), and guides will cover all safety procedures before we launch.
• All participants must be reasonably fit and able to paddle in moving water.
• No dogs allowed — pets may not be left in or near vehicles during the trip.
• Participation is at your own risk — the Meetup host is not liable for any injuries, delays, or unexpected issues during the event.

❗️Cancellation & Refund Policy:

• Refunds are only possible if a replacement is found. If there’s a waitlist, we’ll offer your spot to the next person and issue a refund.
• If there is no one on the waitlist, the person cancelling will be responsible for finding a replacement to receive a refund.
• If the trip is cancelled by Alpine Adventures (e.g., due to river conditions), their company cancellation policy will apply.
