Golden Gardens staircase, marine walk, and lunch

Start the weekend morning leisurely and meet at the Caffe Fiore (3125 NW 85th St, Seattle, WA 98117) at 10.00 am to walk down the steps to the beach. From there, we'll make a loop around the marina, the fishing pier, to Leif Erikson's statue surrounded by a stone circle then circling back to climb up the steps while enjoy the PNW greenery on the trail.

Lunch: After making the loop and gathering next to the Golden Garden Off-Leash area, we will have several lunch options: Thai Siam on 85th/15th Ave; Ray's Boathouse cafe; or if we have 6 ppl or less, Sunny Hill Pizza.

### Access

• Take bus 40 from downtown and walk 15-20 minutes to café Fiore.
• Take bus 45 from the U-District, which stops right outside café Fiore.
• Drive and park anywhere curbside near the cafe.

### Important

• You are responsible for your own safety and expenses during this walk.
• This route is rated easy, but the nearly 300 steps may be challenging for some. Know your ability before signing up. The loop is ~ 3 miles; 240 ft elevation gain.
