Let's go for one of Washington’s most iconic alpine adventures! The Skyline Loop Trail is a breathtaking 5.5-mile route departing from Paradise, offering sweeping views of glaciers, alpine meadows bursting with wildflowers, cascading waterfalls, and the mighty Mount Rainier towering above.
This loop has something for every nature lover - from glacier vistas to serene rivers. We’ll be taking the clockwise route, which climbs steadily up to Panorama Point, the crown jewel of the trail. Along the way, we may take a short detour to Glacier Vista, where we’ll see the impressive Nisqually Glacier up close. We’ll begin and end our journey at the Jackson Visitor Center, which has restrooms, food, and a place to relax after the hike.
Note: This hike is best during the summer months. For this trip, no gear is necessary , but hiking poles are recommended. Dress in layers, as the mountain weather can change quickly.
