It’s raining all across Washington this weekend, so let’s lift our spirits with a trip to one of the rain shadow regions — the San Juan Islands!
We’ll take a scenic ferry ride (about an hour) through beautiful island views — a true bucket-list experience.
Living in Seattle gives us the chance to explore such diverse weather and landscapes, so let’s make the most of it! Join me for a relaxing day on San Juan Island with an easy hike, followed by whale watching at Lime Kiln Point State Park.
Even if we don’t spot any whales, Lime Kiln is a stunning place to be — the views, cliffs, and ocean breeze make it worth the trip.
