Lake Serene & Bridal Veil Falls
Details
Come join me for a hike to Bridal Veil Falls and Lake Serene!
Distance: 8 miles
Elevation Gain: 2,500 ft.
Difficulty: A little hard
The weather doesn’t seem to be getting any better, so our only options are to hike in the rain or not hike at all. The trail for Bridal Veil Falls and Lake Serene is close to town and makes for pretty views in all weather. All the rain should have the falls flowing nicely, but the gradual trail through the forest should shield us from the worst of the weather. The conditions aren’t ideal, but we can still get out and enjoy some natural beauty and hearty exercise.
Hiking poles are recommended. Bring plenty of food and water, and be prepared for rain and mud.
This hike will happen rain or shine, though in the event of heavy rain, we may turn around after Bridal Veil Falls.
