Putting together a relaxed afternoon hike at Saint Edward State Park to explore some of the best trails and hidden spots in the park.

Wandering through old growth forest, checking out cool viewpoints, and seeing some of the historic parts of the park along the way.
The route will take us through a mix of quieter forest trails, waterfront sections, and some of the park’s most interesting spots - including the seminary building, grotto area, orchard trail, and beach access.
There are a lot of interconnected trails here, so it should feel more like an adventure loop than a straightforward out and back.
One of best things about this park is how quickly it changes scenery - one minute you’re in dense forest, then suddenly near the water, then walking past beautiful old architecture.

Planned Route:
Juanita Trail → Arrowhead Trail → North Trail → Beach Trail → Seminary Trail → Perimeter Trail → Grotto → Orchard Trail → South Canyon Trail → South Ridge Trail → Water Tower Trail → Plateau Trail → Volunteer Trail → back to Juanita Trail

📍 Meeting Spot:
Juanita Trail entrance
NE 145th St, Kenmore, WA 98028

🕒 Meet Time:
3:30 PM

🚍 Public Transit:
