Mount Rainier Waterfalls Hike
Details
Come out and tour the misty waterfalls of Mount Rainier!
Distance: 10 miles
Elevation Gain: 2,400 ft.
Difficulty: Moderate
It looks like summer isn’t quite here after all. With rain and clouds predicted throughout the weekend, let's visit the lush forests and rivers along the Wonderland Trail in Mount Rainier National Park. Starting from near the Cougar Rock campground, we will cross the Nisqually River and proceed past Carter, Madcap, Narada, and Ruby falls, pausing for pictures and to appreciate the scenery. We will continue past there to Faraway rock and some viewpoints above the lakes near Paradise. We will return via a loop, passing by the Reflection Lakes and rejoining the Wonderland Trail back to the cars.

The trail might be muddy! Real boots are recommended, not sneakers. Rain is also likely so bring some waterproof clothes, and plenty of food and snacks.
Riders should give $20-25 to their drivers for gas. Bring a plastic bag to place your boots in after the hike. National Parks Pass is necessary or you can pay for a day pass at the entrance.
Important: I am not a professional guide and this is not a guided event. All wilderness trails are inherently dangerous. You and yourself alone are responsible for your own safety. Please know your abilities before signing up.
