🚗 Parking & Permits
- Permit Required: National Park Pass
- Road Note: The trailhead is accessed via paved Highway. The road is in good condition.
⏰ Schedule & Carpooling
- Carpool Meet: Green Lake Park & Ride (NE 65th St & I-5) - 6:00 AM
- Pit Stop: Safeway (for coffee & snack) (152 Roosevelt Ave E, Enumclaw, WA 98022)
- Fuel Reimbursement: Please help your driver with gas and wear-and-tear.

Proposed Timeline:
- 3:30 PM - Meet at Green Lake Park & Ride (NE 65th St & I-5, Seattle) Carpool and depart promptly
- 5 PM - stop at safeway for bathrooms / purchase food / coffee
- 6 PM - Arrive at trailhead / start hiking
- 8 PM - Reach Lookout
- 8 - 10:30 PM - Enjoy sunset, star gaze
- 10:30 PM - Hike down
- 12:30 PM - Estimated back to cars
- 2:30 AM - Estimated return to Green Lake P&R
