Centennial Trail Bike Ride

What was once the old Burlington-Northern railroad line is now the Snohomish County Centennial Trail. This paved trail starts from the city of Snohomish and winds north to the Skagit County border, past pasture, farmland, wetlands and over the Stillaguamish River. Along the route there are picnic areas and benches to take a break and take in the sights.

Come out and ride a 22 mile section (44 miles round trip) between the Pilchuck Trailhead and Armar Road Trailhead. This section of the trail goes through the rural farmland of north Snohomish, wooded sections towards Lake Stevens, wetlands around Lake Cassidy and a bridge crossing over the Stillaguamish river.

Equipment/Supplies:

• Bike
• Helmet
• Spare tube or tube repair kit & pump
• Gloves (optional)
• Plenty of fluids
• Packed lunch

Schedule:

• 10:00am Meets at the Pilchuck Trailhead (5801 S. Machias Rd, Snohomish)
• 10:15am Depart Pilchuck Trailhead headed north.
• Around Noon: Arrive at Armar Road Trailhead, with stops along the way.
• 1:00pm Southward leg, with stops along the way
• 4:00pm Arrive back at Pilchuck Trailhead

Class 1 and Class 2 E-Bikes are permitted on this regional trail.
