Hello! I’m not sure if anyone will want to do this with me, but I’m thinking of planning a Thanksgiving week backpacking trip. Something long with lots of elevation :)

Example: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/washington/white-pass-pilot-ridge-loop-trail?p=-1&sh=lhymry&utm_medium=trail_share&utm_source=alltrails_virality

I have a full winter backpacking setup I’d like to try out, you probably should too depending on the forecast. Will be taking a trail that doesn’t require crampons/ice axes, but other gear may be required depending on conditions (microspikes, snowshoes, etc)

This hike will be weather dependent, not interested in hiking in the rain for this one.

Is anyone interested in joining?
Not sure if anyone else has Mondays and Tuesdays off but worth a shot

Example schedule:

Sunday night: drive to trailhead, car camp
Monday: hike ~20 mi to camp
Tuesday: hike ~10 mi back to car
